Committee verifies results of 2022 Badger Region Board of Directors election

The Badger Region Board of Directors will welcome one new face when the new term begins June 1, 2022.
Amy Daley was elected the Northeast Rep to the Board of Directors in the vote that concluded on May 10. Also winning election was incumbent Holly Jablonowski who represents the Southeast portion of the Badger Region.
The vote was verified by the nomination committee today (May 12). Nominations for board of directors are accepted throughout the month of April. The election among Badger Region adult members takes place yearly from May 1-10.
The area reps will serve a three-year term.
Daley is Co-Director and 17 Navy’s coach for FC Elite. She has been involved in volleyball for more than 20 years. Her collegiate playing career was at Division I Jacksonville State University in Alabama.
Since her playing days, she has coached at various levels, starting with Cheaha Juniors/Gamecock Volleyball in Alabama in the late 90s. In 2000-2001, she served as the head assistant for her alma mater—Jacksonville State. From there, she moved to California, where she officiated volleyball in the Bay Area. In 2005, she moved to Wisconsin and coached several years for Fox Valley Academy, which later became known as Wisconsin Volleyball Academy. She took a break when her children were born and got back into coaching four years ago. She is now serving as an assistant at Xavier High School, in addition to her co-director role at FC Elite.
Jablonowski joined the Badger Region Board of Directors as Southeast Rep on June 1, 2016. Jablonowski (formerly Vogelsang) is a member of the Wisconsin Volleyball Conference (college club) advisory board and serves as the conference’s women’s division coordinator.
She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2015. There, she was a member of the UW-La Crosse women’s club volleyball team for five years and a three-year president of the organization. he coached girls’ volleyball at La Crosse Logan High School for two years and coached at Brookfield Central High School since from 2015 to 2021. She has coached at Milwaukee Sting since during that same time period.
Says Jablonowski: “I have grown up around volleyball and have been presented with many opportunities which have helped shape me into the individual that I am today, and my goal is to be able to give back and help other individuals be able to have similar experiences to myself.”
