The Badger Region has made coaching education a priority. Badger Region will create and promote opportunities for Badger Region coaches to become certified, re-certify, and stay current with best practices in the sport of volleyball and the field of coaching.

New coaches will become certified by completing IMPACT (Increased Mastery and Professional Application of Coaching Theory). Instructions on how to access IMPACT can be found here.

There are a number of FREE options for experienced coaches including:

  • USA Volleyball Coach Academy (silver & gold tier)
  • Attend an Art of Coaching Clinic or participate in a live webinar
  • Attend an AVCA convention or participate in a live webinar
  • Attend a University/College sponsored coaching clinic (ex: UW-Madison)
  • Attend the WVCA clinic
  • Participate in a Gold Medal Squared clinic, webinar, or online courses
  • Contact the Region office for other specialized training
  • Contact the Region office for approval of other education obtained not listed here
