The schedule for the 2023 BRYFVL season (coming soon)

Debuting in the Fall of 2019, the Badger Region Youth Fall Volleyball League is designed to offer competition and development for athletes new to volleyball as well as experienced athletes at the middle school level . The program is a high school feeder program and relies heavily on the adult volunteers of that specific high school encouraging youth to play. Middle school coaches who make up the league are mostly volunteers who love the sport. The league differs from club in that it depends on the leadership of the school contacts and varsity coaches to make this happen. While schools can elect to make cuts and pick their teams as they choose, many schools do not make cuts.

Young players benefit by having fun learning fundamental skills while playing in a structured competitive environment that helps to promote the high school programs that are involved. The BRYFVL offers divisions for both boys and girls in grades fifth through eighth grade.

The 2023 Fall League will be running on Sundays starting the weekend after Labor Day and ending with a fun and competitive tournament on Oct. 22. There will not be any league play during U14 club tryouts the first weekend in October. Specifics on league schedule and locations will be released later once we have final team numbers.

Parent Information

All athletes participating in BRYFVL must have Badger Region/USAV membership.  If your son or daughter already has a Badger/USAV Junior Membership through Sports Engine from the club season the same year, they may use that membership for BRYFVL through August 31st. If they are new to volleyball or don’t currently have membership, they must purchase a $15.00 22-23 Badger BRYFVL Junior 17U Player Membership (coming soon) through Sports Engine which is good from May 1st through October 31, 2023. (coming soon)

Athletes will NOT BE PERMITTED to play on a team in a different school district than the one they reside in.  We are aware that some school districts do not have BRYFVL teams so we urge those families to reach out to other families in the district, high school AD, or high school volleyball coaches to get a program started. Occasionally waivers will be granted by Badger Region in special cases however those requests need to be emailed to Sara Voigt for approval. If you have any questions please contact Sara Voigt at sara@badgerarchive4.0ed61ed.netsolhost.com.
