Sunday, October 10th, 2021
The Badger Region is excited to announce that we are hosting a Boys Advanced Skills Clinic Launch Party from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee. In partnership with Frisco Mo, the event is designed for athletes ages 16-18 years old who want to train with elite college coaches and get in front of the many recruiters who will be in attendance that night.
Registration is now closed due to selling out. Want to be on the waiting list? Email brian@badgerarchive4.0ed61ed.netsolhost.com.
Athletes must qualify as a B16s, B17s, or B18s according the USAV Age Definition calendar.
The lead coaches for the event will include Colin McMillan (Penn State University), Hudson Bates (Ohio State University), Matt McCarthy (Loyola Chicago) and Matt Pollock (Pepperdine).
Each coach will lead athletes through drills in a specific area of the game that they feel new college athletes need the most work on when they arrive on campus. McMillan will focus on out-of-system work. Bates has a focus on tempo and offense. Pollock has chosen serving and passing. McCarthy will handle defense. Athletes will rotate from lead coach to lead coach throughout the night and have the chance to work with all coaches at the event.
Other coaches on site to assist with the clinic include Shawn Patchell (Long Island University), Mike Rumbaugh (St. Francis University), Brian Rushmer (Lakeland University), JW Kieckhafer (Carthage College), Mike Rumbaugh (St. Francis), Peter Russell (Grand Canyon), Chrisian Staple (Benedictine), Austin Voges (LIU), Scott Gleason (St. Francis) Dylan Ross (Loras College), BJ Bryant (St. Norbert College) and others to be announced.

Frisco Mo is for the boys. Our boys love volleyball and wanted to wear stuff that reflected their culture. There wasn’t much. So, in 2017, we began selling a few t-shirts. Now, we also offer volley shorts, stickers, blankets, beach towels, art, pillows and uniforms. There’s even stuff for the girls! Frisco Mo is driven to make life fun, give back and keep our growing kids close. (Many of the ideas come from them.) We love our work and hope you do too.
