The Badger Region has formed a partnership with the Wisconsin Volleyball Conference (WVC) to provide many of the Wisconsin state universities and private colleges a credible, collegiate club playing experience.  The very first state tournament was held in 1992 in Stevens Point, and has traveled all over the state since then, most recently being held at the Milwaukee Sting Center the last two years. The 2015-2016 season marked the 25th Anniversary of the Wisconsin Volleyball Conference. The league held a 25th anniversary awards banquet, which took place in conjunction with the state championships, at the Hilton in downtown Milwaukee. Nine new members were inducted to the WVC Hall of Fame and the “Silver Anniversary Team” was announced which recognized the finest players in the first 25 years of the the WVC.

Since the inception of the conference, many schools and teams have garnered numerous National Championship trophies, runner-up finishes, and countless All-American awards.  After the completion of the 2019 season there have been 17 National Champions from the WVC and 19 Runner-Up finishes.
