This year’s event may have looked and felt a little different than in year’s past, but we hope that it helped return a sense of normalcy to the Wisconsin volleyball community. In all we were able to have close 1,200 volleyball matches take place between more than 70 different clubs, officiated by 60 different officials. That equates to about 10,000 individuals coming through the doors (not all at the same time) for an amazing event in downtown Milwaukee. At peak, we had 1,250 people in the convention center at one time, with three to four waves of teams coming in and out throughout the day. Our largest weekend was the first weekend with G12s, G15s and 16s.

Next year, we hope to be able to increase our capacities “back to normal,” and we hope to welcome back a lot of the officials, clubs and teams who were not able to compete due to high school conflicts or other COVID-related issues.

In the meantime, enjoy your extended seasons or the opportunities to hit the beach.
