Region names 2019 Boys High Performance rosters headed to HP this summer

The Badger Region is excited to announce the 20 athletes who will represent Wisconsin at the High Performance Championships July 18-22 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
The Boys National Youth team coached by LJ Marx (Carthage College) and Tyler Frings (Marian University) will include:

- Drew Jansen (Colgate)
- Nathan Klimisch (Pleasant Prairie)
- Kegan Olig (Fond du Lac)
- David Paul (Burlington)
- Seth Rupert (Hartford)
- Nick Stachura (Pleasant Prairie)
- Robert Stegeman (Mequon)
- Michael Szews (Brookfield)
- Alternate: Scott Buros (Cross Plains)
- Alternate: Josh Hoening (Kenosha)
The Boys National Select team coached by Brian Rushmer (Marian University/MVC/Germantown) and Brian Sharkey (Badger Region/Southport/Indian Trail) includes:
- Peter Arnsdorf (Wauwatosa)
- Alec Boland (Waukesha)
- Blase Catanese (Wauwatosa)
- Jake Chapman (Waukesha)
- Kellen Gonzales (Waukesha)
- Hayden Karpinski (Appleton)
- Nicodemus Meyer (Franklin)
- Jaxon Schroeder (Appleton)
- Zach Solomon (Waukesha)
- Matthew Staskunas (New Berlin)
- Alternate: Christian Gulak (Dousman)
- Alternate: Jacob Malak (Wales)
The athletes were chosen for these teams through a tryout process that began March 29, where 89 boys participated at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee. From there, 24 boys were chosen for each team that trained over three weekends leading up to the final team selections that were announced on June 3.
