Larry Schoenick started his volleyball career at a young age and played at Nathan Hale High School.
Schoenick started his coaching career in 1996 at Lake Mills High School and remained with the program until 2001.
Schoenick delved into the officiating world in 1998 and has been officiating high school matches ever since. In 2011, he officiated the WIAA Boys High School Volleyball Championship match.
In 2008, Schoenick joined USA Volleyball as an Official. He received the Robert Lindsay Meritorious Service Award in 2012.
Schoenick is married to his wife Susan and is a retired Optometrist.
