Beau Rath
Beau Rath was appointed Treasurer of the Badger Region Volleyball Association Feb. 3, 2022. He has been in and around the sport of volleyball since he was in middle school, being involved in both WIAA and USAV sanctioned events since then.
Professionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant, having spent 4.5 years in public accounting performing audits of both large, public, Fortune 500 companies, and later transitioning to performing audits of relatively small privately held companies. This experience has provided him a wide range of opportunities to not only develop a wholistic business savvy, but also gain a thorough understanding of bookkeeping and internal controls. Currently, he is a senior internal auditor at US Venture, a privately held distributor of products vehicles consume (Oil, Tires, Lubricants, etc.) located in Kimberly.
In terms of volleyball involvement, he currently serves as the head JV volleyball coach for the Appleton North boys volleyball program. During college, he played for the UW – La Crosse men’s club team, which won two DII NCVF championships during that time. He also served as the treasurer and president during his time at UWL. He was also involved in other extracurriculars, including being a member of a fraternity where I was a treasurer, and was instrumental in making difficult decisions that ultimately balanced a budget that was extremely overstretched.
