Mike Endsley is in his first season as head coach of the Wisconsin Lutheran College men’s volleyball team in 2021. Endsley is the first head coach of the Warriors’ 19th NCAA Division III and Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference-sponsored sport.

“I am excited and humbled to be selected to lead the men’s volleyball program at Wisconsin Lutheran College into existence,” said Endsley. “I would like to thank President Johnson, Athletic Director Skip Noon, and the hiring committee for giving me this incredible opportunity to lead a new program in Wisconsin where boys’ volleyball continues to grow and thrive. I look forward to assisting in the development of the student-athletes’ mind, body, and spirit with the ultimate goal of building them into servant leaders of the future.”

Endsley joins the Warriors’ athletics staff after serving for five seasons as head coach of the boys’ 13U, 15U, 16U, and 18U teams at Milwaukee Volleyball Club, where he was responsible for recruitment and in-game coaching. For the past three years, Endsley has also assisted the boys’ varsity volleyball program at Pius XI High School. The Popes were regional champions in 2018 and Woodland Conference runners-up in 2017 and 2018.

Endsley earned a bachelor of science in biology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2003 and a doctor of philosophy in pharmacology and toxicology from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2010. He has worked as a postdoctoral fellow since 2010 at Northwestern University, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
