Use these tips to help navigate the new membership purchase process, Sports Engine

Wednesday, September 16th, 2020

Membership for the 2020-21 Badger Region/USA Volleyball season opened on Sept. 1 with the use of a new platform: Sports Engine.

We are two weeks into the process and here are a few things that continue to come up and some questions we can answer at this time:

  1. There no longer is a tryout membership. This has been replaced by the fall membership ($15) which can be upgraded to a full membership for $35 if an athletes receives an offer from a club.
  2. There is no longer a place to choose your club in Sports Engine. This is because clubs will email an offer electronically through Sports Engine. You will then accept their offer (and upgrade if needed) to join their organization. This feature will go live via the member management system after Sept. 21.
  3. To print your membership card, save your confirmation email you receive after purchasing your membership. The card (which includes a QR code to your profile) will be included. You can put your membership card in your Apple Wallet/Google Play or on your phone, too! For another way, click here.
  4. The 2020-21 season runs from Sept. 1, 2020, through Aug. 31, 2021. This is a change from previous club volleyball seasons.
  5. You will see TWO charges on your credit card for every purchase you make. One pays the Badger Region portion of your membership, the other pays USA Volleyball portion of your membership. Both total $50. There are credit card fees that will be added, too.
